Kissidugu:Kissidugu means "safe place" in the Kissi language of Guinea, West Africa. It is our intention for people of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds to feel safe when they see Kissidugu connect with the music and dance and of Guinea as shared by Fara Tolno, Artistic Director. Our mission is to build a school in Guinea where these valuable traditions of music and dance will continue to be available to the people of Guinea, as the trend of artists leaving the country for work in Europe and the U.S. continues to grow.
